Community Ministry
Meet Stephen, he’s a community minister sponsored by Cardiff Unitarians, living and working in the Riverside and Canton neighbourhoods of Cardiff.
Stephen's work is about promoting healing justice, community, and spirituality through grassroots work in the city.

He works with others in organising a monthly Earth Vigil outside Barclays Bank and takes part in climate activism in Cardiff and beyond. He also runs a monthly Climate Café where people can discuss their feelings about the climate crisis in a supportive environment.

Stephen runs contemplation (meditation) online and in person, as well as running other groups such as a radical Christian book group. He also produces videos and podcasts reflecting on contemplation, justice, and community, and is author of the book Seeking Paradise: A Unitarian Mission for Our Times (available on Amazon).

He is active in community groups in Riverside, including gentle/radical and the Foodcycle free community meal. He is also regularly available to offer a listening ear to those who would appreciate it.

Stephen is accountable to the Safeguarding Policies of Cardiff Unitarians and the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches.
